Look What I made!!
Paul has done it (with some supervision help from Buster, formally known as Buddy)! He added the finishing touches to the fence he’s been working on for three months now. We lost the original one in a El Nino type storm in early winter. It’s quite a fence, especially since he’s never built one before. It was a slow process because we ran out of funds after we started. Each week we’d buy a few more boards and add them on. Finally it’s a full on fence. Now we can sit in the backyard with a little privacy.
Paul wasn’t the only productive one today. Petu caught two gophers today. If you haven’t been counting, the tally is now 4. I secretly encourage him because they are ruining my gardening efforts….I have a hard enough time without them. I think the diet we recently put him on played a role. I think I’ll cut down his food a little more.
PS. We’re still trying out names for the dog and I think we decided. Instead of Buddy he is now officially called Buster Hooligan MacRoss. Buster for short.

Hey, I love your blog…………….just proving the two of you are only inches from total madness….but fun. I never knew Paul had such carpentry experience, I can think of a few projects around here when you come for a visit. You painting and Paul hammering will be music to my ears. Your artiistic endeavors look great no matter what medium or object you take on….quite a versatile person, you are. Now you have a dog. He is probably as insane as the two of you….good match, thought, and I am sure he will be spoiled rotten. I have a cement “Piper” , a ceramic frog complete with a straw hat for the summer and a rubber snake. They don’t require much care or feeding, which is fine with me. Now, I’ll go back to working in the yard………..again, I love your blog.
Love, Dad
