How to save money by avoiding an expensive tear-out….

Recently refinished a kitchen that was in great need of a make over.  Since my client liked the layout and the cabinets were still in good shape, there was no need to tear out.  I did a custom finish to better go with his decor of natural colors.  We also added trim work and baseboard to the island to give it a more substantial look.  He’s very happy and so is his wallet.

Jungle Nursery Mural

This past summer Lori and Shawn were expecting their first child, Stephan.  They wanted a jungle mural in his nursery.  I was very pleased that they found my website because I really enjoyed creating this custom mural for them.  They wanted it animated and whimsical with a lion, giraffe, snake and their two dogs.  The end result was fun.  I hope Stephan enjoys it as he grows.

“The Sweetshop” project in Los Altos

This past spring and summer I was happy to assist Decorative Painter Noelle Kiamos on “The Sweetshop” project.  The designer on the project was the very talented Julie Brown of BrownHouse Interiors.  The cabinets have a vintage painted finish…The walls were done in a soft glaze… and all the signs, logos and menu boards were hand painted.  The end result of the Sweetshop was vintage modern with a touch of whimsical.
